Sales and Service Advisor
£18,000- £18,500 Per Annum

Our client are a leading manufacturer of trailers offering a complete service including sales of new and used trailers, a full range of parts and towing accessories for most makes of trailer, trailer servicing and repair and a towbar fitting service.

Reporting to the Branch Supervisor/Branch Manager, you will assist in the day to day running of the store, helping to achieve sales targets by serving customers in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Process the daily cash paperwork and prepare banking including petty cash and maintain accurate filing systems.
Ensure cash/cheques banked on a daily basis.
Monitor stock movements and deliveries.
Raise invoices/credit notes accurately.
Ensure payment for goods is received accurately and/or credit approval obtained.
Report any discrepancies (monetary or otherwise) to the Store Manager immediately.
Perform any general admin duties as required.

Counter responsibilities:
Actively sell (face to face and over the telephone) and promote the business's product range, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
Serve customers politely and efficiently either at the counter, off site, or over the telephone, providing professional and timely advice on products, services and accessories.
Advise and take orders for equipment hire and product fitting, updating the diary accordingly.
Ensure all stock orders received are shelved at the earliest opportunity and are presented safely, tidily and in an attractive manner. Displays should be updated and maintained regularly to maximise customer interest.
Liaise with the store workshop to ensure they are kept supplied with a steady workload .
Assist with stock takes as required.
Ensure the work area is tidy and operate within the Health and Safety policy of the Company.
Willing to be trained and drive a Fork Lift Truck as required.
Hold a full, current driving licence
